MorDance

Oct 24-30, 2022

Through the lens of a magnificent yet vulnerable Albatross population, this contemporary ballet will trace the environmental impact of human unconsciousness and mass consumption. With an original score created by composer and experimental violinist, Josh Knowles, choreographer Morgan McEwen will create a ballet that will impart awareness and awe by paying homage to the beauty of the Albatross within the frame of our current environmental circumstances. MorDance is a New York based and female-led ballet company that employs movement principles of athleticism and grace to create new works that push the boundaries of both classical and contemporary movement. This group was selected through our 2022 residency open call.

As of now, the studios are private and we are continuing to hold virtual events for the 2022 Season. As these events are confirmed, we will update our schedule below and share more information on our Instagram.
