In late 2020 and during the 2021 Season, due to the evolving nature of the COVID pandemic, we hosted a series of bubble residencies at VAP. All artists in residence quarantined before traveling to Martha’s Vineyard and for an additional 10 days upon reaching the island, per CDC guidelines. We did not host any public programs in order to protect our residents and neighbors, and instead hosted a series of virtual programs on Instagram.

2020
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we closed our doors for the 2020 Season to keep our community and staff safe. As heartbreaking as this was to do, we knew that it was the safest decision for all of our artists and audience members to keep VAP closed until we could gather together again.
